Role Description

Position Summary

Reporting to the Payroll & Total Rewards Manager, the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator is a professional individual contributor responsible for supporting the accurate and timely delivery of payroll, benefits, pension, and compensation administration for Canadian employees.

Payroll

  • Prepare, process, and reconcile full‑cycle bi‑weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple jurisdictions in accordance with legislative requirements, company policies and complex union contracts.
  • Administer payroll‑related changes including new hires, terminations, earnings, deductions, benefits enrolments, and status changes within the HRIS and timekeeping systems.
  • Review payroll data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and liaise with payroll vendors and internal partners to resolve issues in a timely manner.
