Role Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and lead a high-performing, payroll team. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant end-to-end payroll processing across multiple provinces, while providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to a small team.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys both people management and being actively involved in payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a small team of Payroll Administrators
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment
  • Provide training and ongoing support to ensure continuous development
  • Oversee and review end-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume, multi-province environment
  • Approve payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
