Role Description
Join Bentley Place as a Peer Support Worker, providing mentorship and bridging connections for residents in recovery. Work full-time, Monday through Friday from 04:00 pm - 12:00 am.
As a Peer Support Worker, your role centers on facilitating recovery for residents and alumni through personal engagement based on lived experience with substance use or mental health challenges. You'll work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective support and resource connection, as well as participate in case planning and goal achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide peer-based support and guidance
• Encourage clients using self-disclosure strategies
• Observe clients and identify safety issues
• Aid in planning community outings
• Maintain documentation of client progress
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year of experience relevant to recovery
• First-Aid certification with CPR mandatory
