Duties
:
Build strong, empathetic, and professional relationships with individuals, families, peers, service providers, and community partners while representing The Royal with professionalism. Establish rapport and provide one‑to‑one peer support to individuals of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds, helping them pursue recovery, self‑determination, empowerment, and personal goals. Draw on lived experience with mental health, substance use, and forensic issues to provide insight, advocacy support, and perspective-sharing in a way that aligns with peer support values. Support individuals in navigating services, advocating for themselves, and accessing community resources such as housing, employment, education, recreation, transportation, and health services.
