Personal Support Worker (PSW)

Personal Support Worker (PSW) - (PT) - Toronto, ON

• Starting wage: $21.96 per hour. This compensation is inclusive of a $3.00 per hour wage enhancement from the Ontario government for hours spent directly supporting clients. The wage enhancement does not apply to training and paid leave.
• Hours: Up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users/clients in their own homes with non-medical activities of daily living in accordance with individual service plans and with March of Dimes Canada policies and procedures:
• Personal care
• Lifts and Transfers
• Rising/retiring
• Bowel and bladder procedures
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion exercises
• Other light housekeeping duties
• Perform duties in a professional manner, which respects the dignity and right to privacy and maintains consumer and staff health and safety.
