Pharmacy Labeller

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of Pharmacy Operations Manager or team lead, the pharmaceutical labeler ensures labels are placed on packages accurately and efficiently.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Print out labels for medications
• Ensure that labels are placed on the correct medication in a timely manner
• Assemble, label and provide supplies as required under specific contracts
• Participate in quality assurance activities as directed
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department on a daily basis
• File documents appropriately according to P&P’s
• Communicate appropriately with all members of the healthcare team
• Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities, education programs, and department/branch meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned
