Role Description
Elevate women's health care as a full-time Physician Assistant in OBGYN at the Peter Lougheed Centre. Collaborate with a skilled team to support a busy healthcare environment.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the PLC is seeking a qualified PA for its high-volume Labour/Delivery unit and gynecology services. This role includes assisting in surgeries and conducting inpatient consults, emphasizing teamwork and effective communication. Experience working with a diverse patient group will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with c-sections and gynecological procedures
• Conduct inpatient and emergency gynecological consults
• Manage patient care plans for acute conditions
• Collaborate with obstetricians and nursing staff
• Learn basic technical procedures in women's health
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Physician Assistant Program
• Active registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Certification in BCLS
