The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant for a full‑time position in Internal Medicine at the Health Sciences Centre.
Job Description
Annual Hours: 2080. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and is accompanied by a benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic, therapeutic investigations and interventions.
- Conduct history and physical examinations in various settings, including the Emergency Department and wards.
- Follow patients in pre‑peri‑post‑operative wards and other clinical settings.
- Attend clinical and educational rounds.
- Complete standard of practice recordings of all patient encounters, including dictation or electronic medical records where available.
- Communicate effectively in English with interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
