The Shanghai Clinical Research and Trial Center, a state-of-the-art public research hospital affiliated with ShanghaiTech University, was inaugurated in April 2021 and is scheduled to begin trial operations in 2026. As the cornerstone of the university’s forthcoming School of Medicine, it will accelerate the development of breakthrough therapies while delivering exceptional clinical services. With an initial capacity of 500 beds, the Center features specialized multidisciplinary units focused on key areas, including oncology, neurological disorders, pan-vascular diseases, respiratory diseases, rheumatic immune/musculoskeletal disorders, and sensory system disorders.
