Physician - Urgent Care (Stockton)

Summary

This role is ideally suited for physicians trained in Emergency Medicine – or those with backgrounds in Family Practice or Internal Medicine who possess significant Emergency Medicine experience.

Qualifications

• United States citizenship (or eligibility as per VA policy).
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent, from a VA‑approved medical school.
• Full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
• Completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty program leading to board certification (or meeting alternative residency/experience criteria).
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine preferred; board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience also considered.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
