Postdoc on Nano-fertilizers for plant nutrition using Laser ablation ICP MS

We are looking for an enthusiastic postdoc candidate to join two research projects in the Plant Nutrition group. Our research objective is to provide knowledge, which can be used to increase the sustainability of agriculture, by conducting both basic and applied research to increase the ability of plants to acquire essential plant nutrients. In the recent five years, the research group has worked towards this objective through fundamental studies on how nanoparticles can be tailored to interact with plant tissue and thereby improve the uptake and assimilation of essential mineral ions. The vision is to provide a scientific basis for the next generation of fertilizers to improve nutrient use efficiency in crops for the benefit of farmers economy, environment and climate.
