Role Overview
NPCI is looking for an experienced senior leader to join the UPI Product team and lead ecosystem governance, compliance management, and proactive market control initiatives across the UPI ecosystem.
This role is critical in ensuring scalable, technology-enabled governance for one of the world’s largest real-time payment ecosystems. The incumbent will be responsible for translating regulatory expectations into operational and technology-led governance frameworks, proactively monitoring ecosystem risks, and enabling robust compliance mechanisms across ecosystem participants.
The role demands a strong blend of product thinking, technology understanding, regulatory awareness, ecosystem governance expertise, and cross-functional leadership. The candidate will work closely with banks, PSPs, TPAPs, merchants, technology teams, operations, risk teams, and regulatory stakeholders to drive governance excellence and ecosystem resilience.
