Position Overview

ALS Environmental in Thunder Bay is hiring a Production Assistant to support the daily operations of our environmental laboratory. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, detail‑oriented setting and are looking to gain hands‑on experience in logistics, inventory, and sample handling. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high‑quality support for analytical testing by maintaining smooth, efficient, and organized sample receiving and shipping processes.

Specific Responsibilities

• Client & Sample Receiving
  • Welcome and assist clients and couriers in the sample receiving area
  • Receive incoming samples and coolers
  • Unpack and layout samples in the order of submission, ensuring accurate processing
