Role Description
Become a Psychologist at North Bay Regional Health Centre, part of the Forensics Program, focused on providing essential services for patients with serious mental illness. This role includes innovative trauma-informed care for diverse populations.
Serving Ontario’s Northeast Region, this position requires involvement with adults classified as Unfit to Stand Trial or Not Criminally Responsible. Candidates with experience working with female patients are particularly encouraged to apply. Take advantage of flexible roles involving court assessments while collaborating with an inter-professional team and receiving supervision to develop new skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver psychological services to forensic patients
• Support with court and risk evaluations
• Develop trauma-informed treatment plans
• Contribute to team-based clinical practices
• Mentor and supervise team members effectively
Requirements:
• Registered Psychologist with the Ontario College
