Role Description
Position Summary
The Research Assistant, working under the supervision of Dr. Natasha Gallant, will be responsible for carrying out research tasks for the Aging, Residents, and Caregivers (ARC) Research Unit. Dr. Gallant’s program of research focuses on improving the well-being of individuals who are aging with acute illness, chronic disease, and/or serious mental illness along with their caregivers. The Research Assistant will be involved in several research tasks, including preparing applications for ethics and operational approvals, amendments, and renewals; engaging with patient partners; recruiting participants; collecting and analyzing quantitative and/or qualitative data; screening abstracts/titles, reviewing full texts, extracting data for scoping reviews; preparing manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals; and assisting in the preparation of grant applications.
