Quality Control Technician

Dexter Construction Company, Part of The Municipal Group of Companies is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. Dexter Construction is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our Highway Division, testing granular materials at our mobile crushers. This position will be based out of Truro, NS.

Job Summary:

Acting as a representative of the company, this individual must act with professionalism and encourage fellow employees to follow methods and procedures of quality control as outlined by project specifications and company policies. The successful candidate will carry out testing of aggregates in Quarry sites throughout Nova Scotia. Carrying and use of test equipment involves some effort of a physical nature. Training will be provided in on-site safety, testing procedures, and use of equipment.
