(R) Sr Buyer

Sr BuyerResponsibilities- Work independently to coordinate purchasing activities and manage purchase requisitions in a timely manner.
- Use MRP and/or manual requests to analyze demand and determine purchasing needs.
- Issue RFQs for price and availability, monitor supplier delivery, negotiate price, volume, and delivery dates.
- Process RMAs, expedite and reschedule orders to meet production requirements.
- Resolve AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation.
- Research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long‐lead‐time parts.
- Manage implementation of engineering changes, interpret procurement policies, lead process improvement projects, negotiate and approve PPV's.Qualifications- Minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Strong written and spoken English (80% proficiency).
