Role Description
Rail Terminal Operator
Location: Grande Prairie, AB.
Schedule: Full Time (40 hrs/week + some weekend/call outs)
Responsibilities
- Operate Yard Equipment – use rail car openers, hydraulic jacks, hand tools, loaders, and other specialized equipment.
- Perform Transloading Tasks – load and unload dry or liquid bulk products from rail to trucks, assist drivers with offloading at offsite locations.
- Ensure Rail Operations Compliance – follow proper procedures for opening/closing rail cars, track access, and safety flag requirements along with operational requirements for the safe movement of equipment.
- Handle Scale Operations – weigh in/out trucks and complete scale tickets accurately.
- Maintain the Facility – perform housekeeping duties, general upkeep, grass cutting, snow removal, painting, and more.
- Work Independently – once trained, you’ll be expected to perform tasks with minimal supervision. <...
