Job Summary
:
Provide high-level mathematical experiences to struggling students in mathematics and teach the course of study prescribed by the district Tier II or III instructional programs/materials.
Special Knowledge and Skills Deep understanding of research-based and evidence-based practices for teaching mathematics and assessing student progress toward achievement of benchmarks.Essential Duties
Implement with fidelity the assigned program of study.Deliver focused math intervention instruction.Use appropriate supplemental intervention materials to provide Tier II or III literacy support.Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.Administer and interpret assessment data to determine adequate progress and to identify students in need of supplemental or intensive intervention.Implement a range of effective strategies for student learning.
