Overview

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician orders and in accordance with hospital protocols, with the ability to function in unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Performs diagnostic testing and provides emergency/adult critical care as needed.

Additional responsibilities include intubation and A-line skills as trained.

Qualifications

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR
• ACLS – within 6 months
• PALS – preferred
