Role Description
Join the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Services at Grace Hospital, Winnipeg. Provide critical support in an in-person role, working across days, nights, and weekends.
This role involves offering nursing care amidst the fast pace of the Emergency department. You will work closely with team members to provide patient care to those with complex health needs. Recent emergency experience is a strong asset, highlighting the need for quick, decisive actions in patient management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments for emergency patients
• Administer medical treatments as prescribed
• Coordinate effective discharge planning and follow-ups
• Engage actively in ongoing nursing training and orientation
• Maintain comprehensive records of patient care decisions.
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Registered Nursing education program
• Valid registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
