Role Description
Advance your nursing career in the Black health sphere with Durham Community Health Centre as a Registered Nurse (RN). This temporary full-time role focuses on client-centered care within ACB communities, emphasizing mental health and wellness.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will engage with African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) youths and families, delivering comprehensive health services in Durham’s priority populations. This role supports primary and mental health care needs while collaborating in an interprofessional setting. Emphasizing evidence-based practices and cultural responsiveness, the RN will also work on reducing health inequities and ensuring holistic care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide client-centered primary care
• Conduct clinical assessments for complex needs
• Develop care plans for mental health concerns
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams
Requirements:
• BScN and current CNO registration
