Registered Nurse II - PACU -Northeast

Job Summary/Purpose

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse I provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health‑care team to achieve desired results.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

BLS required: certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an equivalent or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. ACLS is required.
