Role Description
Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Birthing Unit at Hennick Humber Hospital, delivering vital care for women and newborns in full-time hours.
In this role, you will handle the assessment and care of patients during critical periods of childbirth. Your work will include circulating for cesarean births, providing education to families, and the flexibility to support on the Mother Baby Unit as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Focus on comprehensive care for mothers and newborns
• Scrub and circulate during cesarean deliveries
• Provide extensive patient and family education
• Facilitate care in the Mother Baby Unit as needed
• Promote family-centered approach in care delivery
Requirements:
• Valid RN registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Current BCLS/CPR and NRP certifications
• Recent experience in a Birthing Unit is essential
