Role Description
Advance your nursing career with a leadership role as a Registered Nurse at The Heights at Mt., a long-term care community in Victoria, BC. This casual position is designed for those passionate about clinical care and mentorship.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex assessments and medication management while mentoring care aides and LPNs. Your mission is to implement person-centered care plans and ensure safety within the community. You will also document all care accurately and coordinate closely with families and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead clinical assessments and care planning decisions
• Administer medications and conduct treatments
• Mentor and support care aides and LPNs
• Develop individualized care plans for residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Certification in First Aid and Food Safety
