Registered Nurse (N2) - Intensive Care Med/Surg

Position Overview

The Clinical Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Responsibilities include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, leadership within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.

Qualifications and Skills

• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
• If there are no applicants meeting the qualifications, the employer may consider an applicant who does not meet the above qualifications.

Certification / Licensure / Registration

• Current CRNM registration required.
• Active participation in professional associations (e.g., Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM)) preferred.
• Annual BLS Level C Registration/Re-Registration is required.
