Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Dawson Creek District Hospital.
As a Primary Care Nurse (PCN) you will practice in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics set by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), working under the general supervision of a Manager or designate. You will serve as a member of the interprofessional team, applying best practices to provide safe, ethical, and competent care for people and their families in a variety of settings such as physician practices, homes, schools, and communities.
The PCN provides direct clinical care and services to individuals, groups, and communities, including clinical follow‑up according to the person’s primary care plan and personal goals of care. You will collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop plans of care informed by these goals.
