Role Description
Be a part of Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences as a Registered Practical Nurse focused on adolescence. Provide vital therapeutic support while leveraging a recovery-driven approach.
This position in the Adolescent Unit allows RPNs to provide holistic care to adolescents requiring mental health services. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team, assessing patient needs and implementing best practices for recovery and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and manage mental health care for adolescents
• Collaborate on care plans with Registered Nurses
• Document interventions and patient progress diligently
• Apply Recovery Champion principles in daily practice
• Maintain efficient communication within the healthcare team
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current CPR – Health Care Provider certification
