Role Description
Elevate nursing standards as a Registered Practical Nurse dedicated to resident care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while providing guidance to Personal Support Workers in a supportive setting.
This position involves delivering hands-on nursing care aligned with required practices while actively participating in improving nursing operations at the residence. Your role will also include monitoring resident health and communicating effectively with physicians and team members to adapt care to evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in a respectful environment
• Direct and support Personal Support Workers
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
• Engage in shift reports to track resident health
• Immediately inform physicians of critical changes
Requirements:
• Certificate of Competence from nursing regulatory body
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care fields
• Knowledge of health regulations and acts
