Location: Port Perry Place

Hourly Wage: starting at $26.65

Status: Part‑Time (evening shifts)

Part‑time permanent role with working hours from 3:00 pm-11:00 pm, including a rotational weekend schedule; extended hours may be required.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will enhance the effective management and quality of nursing practice in keeping with the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, Long Term Care Standards and Southbridge Care Homes Standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident care is provided with established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies, observe, report and record vital signs, symptoms and conditions of residents, and initiate remedial health measures where appropriate.
