Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - Acute Medicine (Quinte 5)

Position Summary

Quinte 5 is a 54‑bed acute medicine unit that cares for some of the most acute patients outside of our ED and ICU. Our team is committed to supporting each other in providing our patients with the highest quality care possible. The team offers a dynamic and supportive work environment to apply your skills and continue developing your nursing knowledge. The Q5 team uses an interprofessional and collaborative approach to care, consisting of RNs, RPNs, PSW/HCAs, UCCs, PTs, PTAs, OTs, OTAs who deliver care as an interprofessional team, supported by clinical resource nurses, practice specialists, and unit leaders.

Required

• Current Certificate of Registration in good standing, or eligible for registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Completion of Coronary Care 1 or equivalent (e.g., Cardio Concepts) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
