Research Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Own internal research program execution — coordinate the full logistics chain for research projects: source samples from biobanks, manage shipments to lab partners, coordinate sequencing and other external services, track contracts, ethical permits, and payments. Make sure every link in the chain knows what's coming, when, and what's expected.
• Drive accountability across the team — run the operating rhythm that keeps research projects on track. Leadership is busy and stretched thin across science, engineering, and business development; you're the person who makes sure commitments don't slip and things actually get delivered.
• Manage external research collaborations — coordinate joint projects with academic institutions and industry partners, keep agreements healthy, timelines on track, and communications flowing across organizations.
