Role Description
Research Review Specialist
Reporting to the Director, Research and Innovation, the primary responsibility of the Research Review Specialist is to support Mitacs’s Research Review Officers and their Managers in maintaining the timely review of applications submitted to Mitacs’s various programs.
Responsibilities
- Review proposals submitted under the Globalink program, applying adjudication criteria consistently to inform funding decisions and ensure completion of reviews according to service standards.
- Support the operations of the Quality in Research and Innovation team by completing and updating reviewer profiles in Mitacs’s peer review database to support the effective identification of subject matter experts for proposals that require peer review.
