Basic Function
Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company, is seeking a full-time, entry level Research Technologist. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, the Research Technologist will provide laboratory support for lubricant product research and development.
Job Duties
- Lubricant product development laboratory support
- Assist in formulation development
- Blending of prototype product samples including both small‑scale and large‑scale (pilot blending plant) blends
- Execute physical testing of samples and coordinate testing with external laboratories
- Develop, implement and maintain test methods for use in lubricant product development, problem solving and customer assistance
- Display good laboratory bench techniques and show initiative in carrying out tasks
