Role Description
Ensure safety and optimization in rock mechanics supervision with Agnico Eagle. This Fly-In Fly-Out role involves leading teams and conducting critical technical studies for mining operations.
As a Rock Mechanics Supervisor, you will report to the Engineering General Supervisor within the Engineering Department. Your main responsibilities will include designing studies on rock mechanics, defining ground control strategies, and ensuring compliance with AEM standards. You will guide a team, coach junior engineers, and oversee crucial inspections for both underground and open pit operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and oversee technical rock mechanics studies
• Define ground control strategies for worker safety
• Review annual LOM and mine design compliance
• Conduct inspections and implement QA/QC programs
• Lead the rock mechanics team in monitoring services
