Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier, On-call Relief

Canada Post is recruiting a Rural and Suburban Mail Carrier (On-Call Relief) in Rouyn-Noranda, QC. This is a temporary, on-call position delivering mail and parcels across rural and suburban routes.

Responsibilities

• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items safely and on time.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of local roads, customers, and delivery receptacles.
• Ensure mail is securely in your possession at all times.
• Process Canada Post products and services including Change of Address Notifications, Damaged Mail, and Items Delivered Bills (IDB).
• Wear and display Canada Post identification while delivering and collecting mail.
• Lift and carry items up to 50 lb / 22.7 kg.
• Operate a personal motor vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid permanent provincial driver's licence — Class 5 or G.
