Job Description
Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the assigned machine through the utilization and implementation of the standard operating procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Use of chemicals and equipment requiring strict adherence to MSDS sheets
- Responsible for using safety equipment appropriate to work site
- Responsible for following GMPs and specially to avoid raw/dirty contact with finished product
- Ability to run machinery in a safe manner, using proper lock-out procedures
- Work around chemicals in a manner compliant with WorkSafe BC regulations
- Work in a safe manner, being aware of things around you
- Follow established sanitation procedures for each area
