Role Description
Join the Melfort and District Curling Club as an Ice Technician for the 2026/27 season. This seasonal role focuses on creating and maintaining quality curling ice for leagues and events.
This full-time position at Melfort Curling Club requires a motivated individual with 1-2 years of ice technician experience or a strong interest in curling. You will be responsible for all aspects of ice quality, including installation, maintenance, and preparation for both youth and league sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain curling ice for smooth play
• Monitor and adjust ice conditions throughout the season
• Prepare ice consistently for scheduled events
• Operate ice-making machinery effectively
• Communicate with club management regarding ice conditions
Requirements:
• Experience or training in ice maintenance is a plus
