Security Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Repair electronic equipment.
• Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies.
• Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools.

Job Requirements

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field.
• Own vehicle and valid driver's licence; required driving record check.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with alarm/security system repair and camera electronics.

Physical Requirements

Work site environment: outdoors; work setting: repair and service at various locations.

Physical tasks include bending, crouching, kneeling; attention to detail; fast-paced environment; work under pressure.
