Senior Accountant

The Admas Lake Indian Band is seeking a Senior Accountant. The individual will be responsible for overseeing complex financial accounting and financial reporting, developing policy and ensuring compliance with established standards. The Senior Accountant will also mentor other staff to contribute to a continuous learning environment. This position will play a vital role in ALIB’s overall financial planning and reporting accuracy by delivering key insights and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements. Additionally, will lead interim and year end audit activities and advise on opportunities for process improvements. A key focus will be researching technical accounting standards and making recommendations to leadership, creating and maintaining continuity schedules, and performing and/or reviewing reconciliations across various accounts.
