As part of the Social Policy team, you will contribute to advancing Alberta’s interests, strengthening relationships across governments, and helping shape public policy that impacts Albertans every day.
Responsibilities
Intergovernmental Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor media, government announcements, legislative developments, and political trends across Canada to identify emerging intergovernmental issues related to social policy.
- Analyze trends in social policy and intergovernmental affairs, and provide timely updates to colleagues and senior officials.
- Track the positions and activities of federal, provincial, and territorial governments, as well as relevant political actors, on priority issues.
