Senior Manager, US Corporate Tax

Doane Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, US Corporate Tax to lead and grow our US Tax practice in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in managing and growing our US corporate tax practice.
• Proactively provide tax advice and solutions to clients to expand business.
• Supervise and review the work of junior associates for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage and mentor staff.
• Review corporate US income tax returns.
• Collaborate with team members in Tax and Assurance groups.
• Monitor engagement budgets and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Appropriate relevant accounting designation (CPA or EA).
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.
• US Masters in Tax considered an asset.
• At least 7 years of experience in US Tax in public accounting or industry.
