Role Description
Senior Network Engineer – Vancouver
Full‑time, hybrid (2‑3 days in office) position located in Vancouver, BC. Reports to Senior Manager, Network Engineering.
Key Accountabilities
- Operate and support the global enterprise network, ensuring SLAs and uptime.
- Provide support for datacenter, campus, SAN, and wireless infrastructure.
- Serve as the top‑tier technical escalation point for complex incidents.
- Engineer, implement, and optimize BGP routing and switching environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Manage network security infrastructure – firewalls, VPNs, and NAC solutions.
- Oversee performance and capacity using tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Wireshark.
- Lead network‑related projects from design to deployment and post‑deployment support.
