Senior Operational Accountant

Reporting to the Senior Director, Operational Accounting, the Senior Operational Accountant plays a critical role in the accurate and timely reporting of all operational related financials. The individual interacts frequently with both management and the operational teams to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all operational reporting.

CORE RESPONSBILITIES

• Track, analyze, and report on project performance ranging from small projects to large multi-million-dollar projects.
• Preparation of monthly reporting files, including work in progress, divisional income statements, and forecast.
• Prepare journal entries, prepare account reconciliation related to operations, and recognize revenue according to the revenue recognition policy.
• Variance analysis of financial results, at the job and divisional level, against both budget and forecast including Fleet analysis.
