Elk Valley Resources seeks a Senior Lead in Operational Regulatory Approvals to oversee coal mining permits in Sparwood, BC. This role focuses on compliance and team leadership within a collaborative environment.
At EVR, you will manage regulatory activities while supporting team goals and initiatives. Your background in project management and regulatory frameworks will enhance our operations across BC and Alberta. This position also includes engaging with local Indigenous Nations and regulators to ensure smooth permitting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and prepare applications for regulatory approvals
• Supervise a team of at least four site coordinators
• Maintain and present Application Summary Table updates
• Collaborate with mine personnel on regulatory issues
• Forecast operational permitting needs annually
