Senior Rail Operations Advisor

Location & Availability

Required to be on‑site at Metrolinx offices (130 Adelaide Street West, Rail Yards, and NOC Operations Centre) for a minimum of 3 days per week. Must be available to respond 24/7 as an operational business continuity subject matter expert when required.

What will I be doing?

• Manage and optimize the service plan equipment cycling and deployment of rail vehicles to ensure operational readiness and balanced asset usage.
• Identify and implement effective solutions under compressed timeliness to maintain service continuity and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Capital Projects teams to align equipment performance with service delivery goals.
• Monitors special service and plan effectiveness; develops, maintains, and implements alternative strategies for continued and improved Rail Operations.
