Role Description
Senior Software Quality Engineer – Finance Domain Responsibilities
Design, execute, and oversee complex test strategies. Plan and design tests, set up test environments, and prepare test data. Manage defects and configuration throughout the lifecycle. Work with SQL-based databases (Microsoft SQL, Snowflake, PostgreSQL) including creation of stored procedures, views, and tables. Test Master Data Management (MDM) systems and run tests against large datasets. Perform first‑level troubleshooting of defects for root‑cause analysis. Use Unix command line to access logs and manipulate files. Monitor application logs and investigate system behavior with AWS tools (S3, Secrets Manager) and cost models. Resolve technical issues, coordinate with Development and cross‑functional teams, and secure appropriate sign‑off. Publish results, maintain detailed status reports, and monitor all defects. Work with workflow schedulers (AutoSys, Airflow, Stonebranch UAC). Write scripts in Python or a s...
