Role Description
Oversee mining operations with a focus on safety as a Senior Shift Supervisor at Fort McKay Group in Fort McMurray, AB. Guide teams and enhance operational performance on your shifts.
This is a senior role requiring comprehensive oversight of a mining and tailings operation that includes around 800 heavy equipment operators. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, you are expected to ensure that safety is prioritized while managing the execution of mining activities alongside Shift Supervisors and Team Leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Shift Supervisors to ensure effective operations
• Coordinate production sequencing and resource management
• Monitor compliance with safety training and assessments
• Conduct shift handovers and end-of-shift reviews
• Collaborate on safety investigations and lessons learned
