Job Overview
Perform a variety of over-the-counter customer service, administrative, and clerical duties while interacting with customers directly and indirectly.
Responsibilities- Assist customers by tracing packages, answering questions about FedEx products and services, and providing over-the-counter and phone service.
- Type or prepare various operations reports.
- Handle customers with packages in the cage and maintain a clear and clean appearance of the workplace/front counter, self and uniform.
- Maintain and audit records and files (airway bills) as assigned, review airway bills and register as necessary.
- Check packages for proper labeling, legality of content, weight and size, proper wrapping, insurance values, hazardous material requirements, and compliance with customs documentation.
