Role Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Trican's core value, Safe equipment and operations is the priority in all activities
  • Assist all employees requiring IT assistance as first point of contact
  • Setup and maintain employee network accounts
  • Setup and configure new personal computers such as desktops and notebooks
  • Decommission computer assets at the end of their lifecycle
  • Perform standard maintenance on systems
  • Address daily technical support issues that arise with employees at local, home, office and regional base sites
  • Participate in an on call weekly rotation for support problems that may arise after office hours
  • Coordinate all local support issues
  • Ship and receive computer equipment while ensuring all inventory is in the asset database
